Job summary

The Perioperative Supply Chain Assistant Manager at University of Kentucky will help direct and coordinate daily activities in the Materials/Purchasing Services department. You will order materials, manage inventory, build case carts, and oversee consignments for area hospitals.

Collaborating with EAG and MRP Controller, you will support margin improvement, patient billing review, and process integrity initiatives while developing workflows to optimize staffing and service delivery.

Qualifications

• Healthcare supply chain knowledge preferred.
• Minimum four years of inventory control experience.
• CMRP certification within six months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate daily activities in Materials/Purchasing Services.
• Order materials and manage inventory; case cart building; process payments and special requests.
• Monitor consignments for Chandler and Good Samaritan hospitals.
• Collaborate with UKHC clinical departments to support perioperative patient care.
• Develop workflows to optimize staffing and service delivery.
