Job summary

University of Iowa Health Care – North Liberty Campus is seeking a Perioperative Supply Chain Associate to liaise with clinics and operating rooms. The role uses Excel, Tableau, and SPM to locate supplies and communicate with hospital staff on emergencies.

Requires ability to move throughout the hospital, lift up to 25 pounds, and handle inventory including high/low shelving. Responsibilities include procurement, inventory maintenance, contract review, and coordination with vendors and internal

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field required.
• 6 months to 1 year related supply chain experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel.
• Prompt communication with hospital staff regarding emergencies and requests.
• Ability to move throughout hospital, up to 25 pounds, and transport heavy case carts.
• Ability to move and position self to handle inventory, including high/low shelving.

Responsibilities

• Procure, receive, store, and deliver goods and services as directed.
• Organize and maintain hospital inventory.
• Review contracts for pricing and terms; obtain information as requested.
• Manage inventory and support marketing plans; implement improvements.
• Cycle count, restock, and receive products.
• Interact with vendors and internal customers to resolve issues.
