Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Nursing degree from an accredited school of professional nursing required.
• Current State of Texas license to practice professional nursing.
• Basic Life Support certification.
• 3+ years of nursing experience in clinical area and 1+ year in supervision/management.
• Magnet designation is preferred for certain hospital settings.

Responsibilities

• Manages daily operations of the patient care department, including staffing and scheduling.
• Collaborates with physicians and management to address strategic initiatives and goals.
• Leads program evaluation, process improvement, and ensures high-quality patient care.
• Promotes professional growth, mentoring, and periodic performance feedback.
• Ensures safe care for patients, staff, and visitors within budget and policy guidelines.
