Job summary

Temple University Hospital is seeking a Periop Services Assistant on a per diem rotating shift. The role involves transporting patients, supplies, and equipment within Perioperative Services and maintaining a clean, safe environment across OR, PACU, and SPU.

Responsibilities include between-case cleaning of ORs and equipment, as well as assisting with direct patient care for patients undergoing surgical procedures. High school diploma is required; 1 year of OR attendant experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent Required.
• 1 year experience as an OR attendant or in a related role is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Transports patients, supplies, and equipment throughout Perioperative Services.
• Cleans between case areas and equipment as well as offices, lounge, restrooms and call rooms.
• Assists in providing direct patient care as assigned to patients undergoing surgical procedures.
