Under the direction of the Surgery Nurse Director, you will assist physicians during procedures, anticipate needs, hand instruments, and maintain a sterile operating room for adult and pediatric patients.

Qualifications

• Active RN or LVN license.
• Certified Surgical Technician certification or on-the-job scrub nurse training.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care by assisting the Physician/Surgeon and Charge Nurse.
• Assist surgeons during invasive and non-invasive procedures and hand instruments.
• Prepare and organize the operating room and maintain sterile environment.
• Communicate patient condition to Charge Nurse and staff, escalating as needed.
