Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
• Minimum of five years perioperative nursing experience.
• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) preferred.
• Current RN license in North Carolina.
• CMLSO certification required within one year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Lead perioperative safety programs, committees and initiatives.
• Support program goals via meetings, reporting and policies.
• Design and implement perioperative safety education for staff.
• Monitor compliance with ANSI, AORN, TJC and CMS standards.
• Serve as liaison between Surgical Services and leadership.
• Provide guidance to staff and leadership on operations.
• Develop quality, safety and process-improvement projects.
• Collaborate with quality, analytics and safety teams to improve outcomes.
