Join our client operating room team as a Staff RNFA, where you'll collaborate with surgeons to deliver exceptional patient care during surgical procedures. Your perioperative expertise will be essential in maintaining a safe and efficient surgical environment.

This role requires BSN, 2+ years perioperative nursing, and Massachusetts RN licensure, with CNOR, CPR, ACLS within 6 months of hire and RNFA within 2 years.

Qualifications

• BSN required.
• 2+ years perioperative nursing experience.
• 1+ year med/surg nursing experience (preferred).
• Active RN license in Massachusetts.
• CNOR certification.
• CPR certification.
• ACLS certification (within 6 months of hire).
• RNFA certification (within 2 years of hire).

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect nursing care in the perioperative setting.
• Serve as a first assistant to the surgeon.
• Apply surgical aseptic techniques and respond effectively in emergencies.
• Lead patient-centered care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Guide ancillary personnel, ensuring adherence to nursing standards.
• Participate in call rotation and occasional weekend/evening shifts.
