Job summary

HealthyU Clinics in Arizona seeks a qualified Perioperative Registered Nurse (RN) to provide safe, patient-centered care across Pre-Operative, Operating Room and PACU settings. You will assess, plan, implement, document, and evaluate care in line with nursing standards, provider orders, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with ADN/ASN or equivalent required.
• Current, unrestricted Arizona RN license.
• BLS/CPR certification required; ACLS within 90 days of hire.
• 1–2 years perioperative/OR/PACU/ASC nursing experience preferred.
• Strong assessment, medication administration, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patients throughout perioperative process and discharge readiness.
• Verify identity, procedure, site, consent, orders, and documentation.
• Establish IV access; reconcile medications and administer as ordered.
• Prepare patients and areas, ensure equipment and emergencies are ready, assist team.
• Provide nursing care for MAC, moderate/deep sedation, and general anesthesia.
• Monitor airway, respiration, cardiovascular status, pain, and complications.
• Maintain sterility, infection prevention, and proper documentation.
• Report safety events and maintain HIPAA compliance.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team and participate in ongoing education.
