Job summary

Seacrest Behavioral Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide high-quality pre- and post-operative care for diverse surgical patients in a tertiary care teaching environment. The role focuses on patient assessment, medication and IV management, wound and drain care, and support for safe recovery across the surgical continuum.

You will collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and interdisciplinary teams, deliver patient and family education, and contribute to evidence-based practice

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure.
• Strong perioperative care skills.
• Proficiency with medication administration and IV management.
• Excellent communication and patient/family education ability.
• Ability to work in a collaborative, interdisciplinary setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments and ongoing clinical monitoring.
• Administer medications and manage IV therapy per standards of care.
• Provide wound and drain care and observe for complications.
• Deliver clear, compassionate education to patients and families.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Support evidence-based practices and continuous professional development.
