Stormont Vail Health is seeking a Perioperative Nurse to provide comprehensive care across pre-, intra-, and post-operative phases. The role emphasizes patient safety, data-driven assessment, and coordination with the surgical team to ensure optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities include data collection, care planning, and patient education on post-operative instructions, with a focus on quality across all perioperative stages.

Formación

• RN license required in Kansas or multi-state with the ability to practice in Kansas.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) is required; ACLS may be required depending on department.
• BSN preferred; experience in perioperative nursing is desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Collects relevant data and information about the patient, situation, or setting.
• Analyzes assessment data to identify problems and plan care.
• Develops and coordinates a plan to achieve expected outcomes.
• Educates patients on post-operative care and discharge instructions.
• Provide perioperative nursing across pre, intra, and post-operative stages.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, quality care.
