Job summary

Qualifications include a BSN (preferred) and KSRN licensure within 90 days, with ACLS/PALS as required. Experience in ambulatory or clinic settings is valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
• RN licensure in KS (KSBN) is required within 90 days of hire; ACLS/PALS may be required within 90 days.
• Experience in a clinical setting is preferred.
• Strong communication, math and safety skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care as defined by state nurse practice act.
• Performs ongoing patient assessment and data collection.
• Administers prescribed medications, infusions, and treatments per standards.
• Develops a prioritized, goal-directed plan of care.
• Delivers care in a knowledgeable, skillful, consistent manner.
• Sets priorities based on patient needs and available resources.
• Prepares equipment and assists during treatment, examination and testing.
• Documents care and maintains accurate patient records.
• Evaluates patient progress and outcomes; supports clinical decisions.
