Job summary

Stormont Vail Health is seeking a Perioperative Nurse (RN) to provide comprehensive care before, during, and after surgery. You will coordinate pre-procedure assessments, intraoperative support, and post-operative education, using strict safety standards and multidisciplinary collaboration.

Requires BSN, Kansas RN license (KSBN) and BLS; strong communication, critical thinking and teamwork are essential. On-site in Kansas, with the ability to work within a dynamic surgical service environment.

Qualifications

• Requires BSN and RN licensure in Kansas (KSBN)
• BLS certification required; CPR/ACLS may be required based on department
• Strong patient safety focus and ability to apply nursing process

Responsibilities

• Collects data and analyzes information to identify problems.
• Develops a plan of care tailored to the patient.
• Implements and coordinates care across pre-, intra-, and post-operative phases.
• Educates patients and families on post-operative care and discharge instructions.
