Job summary

Diversity Group seeks a PeriOperative Registered Nurse to manage all elements of the nursing process in the perioperative setting. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care, coordinate patient education and self-management, and ensure safe medication administration under established policies.

Responsibilities include maintaining sterility, protecting patients, documenting care, and being on-call for emergencies while working across circulator/scrub roles.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an approved nursing program and eligible for State licensure.
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
• Experience or training in perioperative nursing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plans, directs, and coordinates patient care for perioperative cases.
• Maintains sterile field and safe instrument handling during procedures.
• Administers medications and monitors patient response per policy.
• Documents care timely and accurately in the electronic health record.
• On-call for emergency procedures and supports education/self-management.
