Qualifications

• Current State of Texas license or temporary/compact license to practice professional nursing
• Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Additional certifications may be required based on discipline and/or nursing unit requirements

Responsibilities

• Delivers safe and appropriate care to patients according to the nursing skills inventory and patient needs.
• Coordinates planning for delivery of nursing care with interdisciplinary team and administers clinical decisions.
• Collaborates with, directs, and may delegate to the healthcare team to achieve positive outcomes based on data and professional standards.
• Coordinates treatment plans; develops and implements discharge and transfer plans.
• Participates in systemic, interdisciplinary program evaluation and process improvement.
• Addresses diverse patient needs across the continuum of care while upholding service standards and optimizing patient experience.
• Adheres to regulatory and Texas Board of Nursing standards.
• Performs other duties within scope of practice and clinical competency.
