Steindler Orthopedic Clinic in North Liberty, IA is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to support our Ambulatory Surgery Center, focusing on perioperative and post-anesthesia care. You will assess, plan, and deliver nursing care across all phases of the patient journey in a fast-paced procedural setting.

The role requires strong clinical judgment, a valid Iowa RN license, CPR, and 2+ years in PACU/OR or related nursing. ACLS/PALS are preferred or obtainable within 6 months.

Qualifikationen

• Current State of Iowa RN license
• CPR for Healthcare Providers required
• Minimum 2 years PACU/Pre/Post Recovery/OR or procedural nursing experience
• ASC experience preferred, ACLS/PALS may be required or pursued within 6 months

Aufgaben

• Assess patient condition in post-anesthesia and recovery areas and monitor progress.
• Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care using the nursing process.
• Coordinate interventions to prep patients for procedures and discharge safely.
• Monitor anesthesia/sedation and airway management; ensure patient safety.
• Administer treatments and carry out physician orders accurately.
• Provide care across pediatric to geriatric populations.
• Adhere to aseptic technique, sterile practices, and infection prevention standards.
• Support surgical team and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
