Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing; Bachelors of Nursing preferred
• RN licensure Texas (state license or temporary/compact) and BLS certification
• Certification may be required based on unit requirements

Responsibilities

• Delivers safe and appropriate patient care according to nursing skills and patient needs
• Coordinates nursing care planning with interdisciplinary team and makes clinical decisions
• Collaborates with healthcare team to achieve positive patient outcomes using data and standards
• Develops discharge and transfer plans and coordinates treatment plans
• Participates in program evaluation and process improvement
• Addresses diverse patient needs across the continuum of care while maintaining service standards
• Adheres to regulatory requirements and Memorial Hermann policies; ensures resource stewardship
• Supports professional growth and may serve as preceptor or mentor
