Job summary

Memorial Hermann Health System in Houston, TX seeks registered nurses for weekend shifts. Hours: Sat and Sun 0700-1930 with a floating day during the week; holiday call on a rotational basis.

Prior periop experience is preferred; critical care experience may be considered. You will collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team in delivering patient care, conduct nursing assessments, assist with exams and treatment, educate patients, and maintain medical records.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing; Bachelors of Nursing preferred.
• Current Texas nursing license or temporary/compact license.
• Basic Life Support certification.

Responsibilities

• Delivers safe, professional nursing care per patient needs and nursing standards.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary team for care planning and clinical decisions.
• Coordinates discharge/transfer plans and conducts patient education.
• Adheres to regulatory standards and Memorial Hermann policies.
