Job summary

AdventHealth in Parker, Colorado is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to provide comprehensive patient care during the day shift. You will assess, plan, and implement care per standards and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

A minimum of 1 year of PreOp PACU experience is required, along with an RN license and BLS. This full-time role emphasizes compassion, accurate documentation, and effective communication in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Associate's of Nursing is required.
• Bachelor's of Nursing preferred.
• Must be fluent in English (read, verbal and written).
• Basic computer skills and ability to use Windows-based programs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients across physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual and lifestyle factors.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and standards of care.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and protocols, monitor for adverse reactions.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments and self-care strategies.
• Collaborate with medical staff to coordinate patient care and maintain effective communication.
