Job summary

MedStar Health is seeking an RN for a Pre-Op & Phase II PACU role in Baltimore leveraging a 24-hour/week schedule with two 12-hour shifts and on-call requirements. Eligible candidates bring 1 year of RN experience and strong perioperative or critical-care backgrounds in a Magnet hospital setting.

The position requires an active MD RN license or Compact State RN and BLS; ACLS is preferred with PALS to be earned within 6 months.

Qualifications

• ADN/BSN/MSN or CNL from an accredited School of Nursing required.
• 1 year of RN experience required; at least 2+ years of Critical Care, ED or Perioperative RN experience strongly preferred.
• Active MD RN License or Active Compact State RN and Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers required (AHA or American Red Cross). ACLS preferred with PALS to earned within 6 months after start.
