Job summary

The RN Clinical Periop Nurse at Wellstar Cobb Hospital is a proactive member of an interdisciplinary team ensuring high-quality, safe patient care in the perioperative setting. You will collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and staff, following standards and evidence-based practice.

This role requires 5 years of direct patient care nursing experience, Georgia RN license, and current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.

Qualifications

• Associates or diploma in nursing with Georgia RN license.
• Minimum 5 years direct patient care nursing experience.
• BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications required on hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs the Nursing Process with evidence-based care and coordinates care with the team.
• Delivers patient-centered care, adapting to cultural diversity and patient goals.
• collaborates with patients/families using rounds, teaching and updates.
• Practices according to current clinical standards and guidelines.
