Job summary

The Wellstar Health Systems is seeking an RN Clinical Perioperative Nurse to join an interdisciplinary team delivering high-quality, patient-centered perioperative care. You will apply the nursing process, coordinate with the care team, and support evidence-based practice in a fast-paced surgical setting.

Requires a Diploma in Nursing (BSN preferred), active RN license in Georgia, BLS (ACLS and PALS preferred). Day shift, Mon-Fri with call, and opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• Diploma from an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
• Licensed Registered Nurse (US) with multistate endorsement.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ACLS and PALS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform the nursing process with evidence-based, individualized care.
• Coordinate care through effective interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Provide patient-centered care respecting cultural diversity and family involvement.
• Document care and participate in performance improvement activities.
• Support governance and professional development within the unit.
