Responsibilities

• Provide patient care through the nursing process in preoperative, intraoperative and postoperative phases.
• Assess and document patient status and ensure continuity of care.
• Maintain patient identification, site identification, and surgical counts per policy.
• Report pertinent information clearly to the team and document accurately.
