Job summary

Chadds Ford ASC in Chadds Ford, PA is seeking a PACU RN PRN to support patient care in an ambulatory surgical center setting. The role involves assisting in nursing care and ensuring patient safety from preop through PACU, with patient discharge teaching for outpatients.

Requires PA RN license, BLS & ACLS, and a minimum of one year in perioperative, post-operative or critical care settings; orthopaedic experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Accredited School of Nursing.
• BLS & ACLS required.
• Minimum one year in pre-operative, post-operative or critical care/emergency experience.
• Orthopaedic experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists in provision of nursing care to patients in an Ambulatory Surgical Center setting.
• Assumes total responsibility for patient care in accordance with physician's orders and center's policies.
• Discharge teaching for outpatients with attention to detail.
• Support perioperative patient flow and safety throughout the PACU and preop phases.
