Job summary

UCHealth Longs Peak Hospital in Longmont, CO seeks an RN for Perioperative/ PACU care. This onsite role requires licensure, BLS with CPR, ACLS/PALS within 6 months, and 6 months RN experience or completion of UCHealth Fellowship.

Responsibilities include direct patient care using nursing process, collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, and adherence to evidence-based practices in a fast-paced perioperative environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program if less than 3 years' experience. Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
• State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• 6 months RN experience or completion of the UCHealth Fellowship program.
• ACLS and PALS within 6 months. (For Pre-Admit RN, just BLS.)
• BLS - BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date. BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire.

• Provides top of scope practice in direct patient care utilizing the nursing process.
