Job summary

As a Registered Nurse at Holy Cross Hospital – Salt Lake City, you will coordinate with the healthcare team to meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of patients, applying the nursing process and state standards with compassionate care. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care, document thoroughly, and educate patients and families.

Relocation assistance of up to $10,000 is available for eligible new hires; schedule is 36 hours per week with day shifts and variable unit

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Nursing and RN License in state of employment.
• Physical requirements: medium to heavy work, lift up to 50 lbs.
• BSN preferred; 1 year or more experience in PACU/ICU/ER preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and coordinate with healthcare team to meet physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.
• Promote patient health and safety through nursing process and adherence to standards.
• Document patient status, interventions, and outcomes; use IT for communication and decision support.
• Provide patient/family education and assess learning readiness.
• Respond to unit needs with flexibility in schedule and responsibilities.

Education

Associate's Degree in Nursing

Nursing Diploma or by endorsement

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred)
