Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care in the outpatient peri-anesthesia setting. The RN will coordinate and deliver nursing care, educate patients and families, and orient colleagues within the Gonda 2 South area.

Responsibilities include planning, implementing, and evaluating care, collaborating with the multidisciplinary team, and supporting leadership in quality improvement.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program; RN experience required.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team.
• Computer skills and EMR experience preferred; flexible hours and on-call.
• Leadership and effective communication for quality improvement.

Responsabilités

• Deliver direct patient care in the outpatient peri-anesthesia setting.
• Coordinate and provide peri-anesthesia care in pre-post area and educate patients/families.
• Lead and mentor colleagues; participate in quality improvement activities.
• Possess leadership through preceptor roles and committee participation.
