Mayo Clinic is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct outpatient peri-anesthesia care at the Gonda 2 South unit. The RN coordinates and delivers care in the pre-post area, educates patients and families, and supports nursing practice across settings.

Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program and hold an active RN license with BLS. Flexibility to work varied shifts and potential driving responsibilities are required. This role is nonexempt and located in Minnesota.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program and RN licensed.
• One year of RN experience required.
• Additional Qualifications: strong communication, teamwork, computer skills, flexibility in hours.
• Internal applicants should attach three most recent performance appraisals.
• Licensure and Certification: RN license by state requirements; BLS valid; other licensure as required.

Responsabilités

• Deliver direct patient care in the outpatient peri-anesthesia setting.
• Coordinate and deliver peri-anesthesia care in pre-post area.
• Plan, implement, and evaluate patient care; educate patients and families.
• Support professional nursing practice and lead when appropriate.
• May participate in committees or projects and mentor colleagues.
• May be required to drive personal vehicle.
