Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in ambulatory settings.
• Coordinate, oversee, deliver, and delegate nursing care.
• Supervise assistive personnel providing delegated nursing services.
• Document and reassess plan of care based on patient response.
• Communicate patient data to health care team promptly.
• Collaborate with team, patient, and family to arrange resources and continuity of care.
• Assess learning needs and provide patient and family teaching.
• Seek ways to incorporate current research into practice.
• Plan and adjust staffing based on patient acuity and census.
