Job summary

River’s Edge Hospital in Saint Peter, MN is seeking a Registered Nurse specialized in perioperative care. The RN will cover preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative duties, including on-call hours for emergencies, across the surgical suite and recovery areas.

The role requires Minnesota RN licensure and AHA BLS/ACLS; PALS within 6 months. On-site, full-time with 0.9 (72 hours biweekly) schedule and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Holds a current Minnesota license.
• Must be certified in AHA BLS and ACLS; PALS within 6 months of hire.
• RQI program enrollment with quarterly training for AHA BLS within 3 months if not certified.

Responsibilities

• Performs nursing activities in preoperative, intra-operative, and postoperative phases.
• Works in Same Day Surgery, PACU, procedure room, and Operating Room as circulating nurse.
• Participates in admission, transfer and discharge, ensuring education needs are met.
• Ensures timely transitions and coordinates with other departments for patient care.
