Job summary

Allina Health in Minnesota and western Wisconsin is seeking a casual RN for perioperative roles in the operating room. You will lead and coordinate patient care, performing circulating and scrubbing duties to ensure safe, efficient OR care and an intentional therapeutic nurse-patient relationship.

The role requires an RN with an associate or vocational degree, completion or progress of perioperative training, and optional bachelor’s degree or experience.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Vocational RN degree and RN license.
• Completion or in progress of an approved perioperative training program.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or perioperative experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Comprehensive assessment of patient and family needs and plan of care.
• Maintain education and competencies to provide high quality patient care.
• Apply evidence-based nursing practices considering statutes and regulations.
• Coordinate with family and patient to set realistic, measurable outcomes.
• Coordinate, delegate, and collaborate to ensure safe, effective care.
