Job summary

Westfields Hospital & Clinic is seeking a Registered Nurse - Perioperative/OR Circulator to join our team in a 0.6 FTE role. The position encompasses circulating/scrub responsibilities, setup, intra-operative care, and phase 1 recovery, with conscious sedation administration as required.

The ideal candidate holds an active Wisconsin RN license, BLS/ACLS/PALS, and AORN Perioperative 101 certification, with CNOR preferred.

Qualifications

• Registered Nursing Degree from an accredited college.
• Previous OR experience required.
• Active WI Nursing License.
• Current BLS, ACLS and PALS certification or within 3 months of hire (ACLS & PALS must be obtained prior to orientation).
• AORN Perioperative 101 Certified
• CNOR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage flow of patients and materials in the OR.
• Provide direct perioperative care during operative procedures.
• Set up for surgical cases and procedures; assist intra-operative care.
• Scrub and circulating duties including phase 1 recovery.
• Administer conscious sedation as needed and oversee recovery.
