Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing.
• At least one year of Operating Room Circulator experience preferred.
• Current state licensure to practice as a nurse.
• Successful completion of BLS/ACLS within 90 days of employment or documentation of current BLS/ACLS.
• CNOR certification is recommended.

Responsibilities

• Assesses and plans patient care with emphasis on safety and outcomes.
• Coordinates nursing interventions to support discharge readiness.
• Directs others in teaching plans and patient education as needed.
• Maintains documentation of patient progress and aligns care with policy and procedures.
• Performs circulating or scrub nurse duties and ensures aseptic technique.
