Job summary

Mayo Clinic is seeking an RN Circulating Nurse to provide perioperative care in the operating room. You will coordinate patient care from pre-op to post-op and prepare ORs while maintaining sterile technique and safety.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program; RN licensure required.
• Ability to work flexible hours including days/evenings/nights.
• Experience in a team environment; strong communication and teaching skills.
• Licensure in applicable state and required certifications (BLS).

Responsibilities

• Provide Perioperative care as a Circulating Nurse in the Operating Room (OR).
• Coordinate patient care throughout the perioperative continuum.
• Prepare ORs, maintain sterile technique and uphold patient safety standards.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia, and interdisciplinary OR teams.
• Support evidence-based practice and quality improvement.
