Job summary

Saint Francis Hospital in Evanston is seeking a skilled RN for perioperative care across neonatal to geriatric patients. You will collaborate with surgeons and anesthesiologists, oversee OR staff, and ensure high-quality patient flow and safety. A BSN is preferred, with CNOR certification encouraged and perioperative experience valued.

The role requires current RN licensure, BLS, ACLS, and PALS, with a focus on compliance and professional development within a comprehensive benefits program.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• ACLS (AHA) certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
• PALS (AHA) certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
• Minimum of one year perioperative experience or on the job training.
• CNOR certification preferred.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care in the perioperative setting.
• Coordinate care with surgeon and anesthesiologist and guide OR staff.
• Maintain standards of professional nursing and participate in PI activities.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure continuity of care.
• Participate in unit meetings, in-services, and regulatory compliance.
