Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Operating Room at Willard Hospital. The role involves leading patient assessments, coordinating with the surgical team, and delivering comprehensive perioperative care across pre-, intra-, and post-operative phases.

The ideal candidate holds an Associate or Bachelor’s in Nursing, current RN licensure, and BLS/ACLS/PALS certification; opportunities exist for professional development within a faith-based health system.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications preferred and must be obtained within 6 months if not already held.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care team.
• Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessment.
• Observe the surgical team and maintain a safe environment.
• Manage nursing care within the OR and coordinate with other care providers.
• Provide pre-op, intra-op, and post-op care and discharge instructions.
