Job summary

Endeavor Health seeks a Perioperative Registered Nurse to join our team in Evanston, IL. The role provides direct patient care across pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations during the perioperative period, supporting patient safety and working with the surgical team to complete procedures.

The incumbent may mentor staff, participate in educational programs, and help secure supplies and equipment. Full-time with night and weekend shifts; benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a state approved school of nursing is required.
• BSN is preferred.
• IL RN License is required.
• CPR BLS issued by American Heart Association is required.
• 2 yrs RN experience in perioperative care is preferred.
• Basic Computer Skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients during the perioperative period.
• Assess the surgical environment for patient safety concerns and intervene with the surgical team to facilitate the procedure.
• May supervise orientation of new staff, educational programs, and ensure supplies and equipment for care.
