Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a per diem perioperative nurse to join a Level 1 trauma center. The role covers highly specialized surgeries in 22 ORs across 14 specialties, including robotics and the largest live donor liver transplant program in the U.S.

You’ll work with cutting-edge technology and a team dedicated to exceptional patient outcomes. Requirements include a Nursing Diploma/ASN with MA RN license, minimum 3 years OR experience, and BLS; BSN and CNOR/EHR experience are

Qualifications

Nursing Diploma or ASN; BSN preferred.
Current Massachusetts registered Nurse license required.
Minimum 3 years OR Nursing experience.
CNOR and EHR experience preferred.
BLS certification required.
ACLS certification preferred.
Demonstrate critical thinking, service excellence and good interpersonal communication.
Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions; basic PC skills.
Lifting 75 lbs. maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

Provide perioperative nursing care across multiple specialties in a 22 operating room environment.
Support patients through anesthesia, surgery prep and recovery pathways.
Utilize cutting edge technology in cardiothoracic, neurosurgery, orthopedics, urology, robotics and liver transplant programs.
