Job summary

Mayo Clinic is seeking a Perioperative Circulating Nurse to support complex, high-acuity surgical cases in the Operating Room. The RN coordinates patient care across the perioperative continuum and ensures sterile technique and patient safety while collaborating with surgeons and anesthesia teams.

Comprehensive OR training, dedicated mentorship, and ongoing clinical support are provided, with opportunities to work with interdisciplinary teams and evidence-based practice in a renowned academic

Qualifications

• RN license required.
• BLS certification required.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Provide Perioperative care as a Circulating Nurse in the OR.
• Coordinate patient care throughout the perioperative continuum.
• Prepare ORs, maintain sterile technique and uphold patient safety standards.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia, and interdisciplinary OR teams.
• Support evidence-based practice and quality improvement.
