Job summary

Centrum Surgery Center in San Antonio, TX seeks a Registered Nurse, Operating Room to join our team. The RN must hold an active Texas RN license and bring intra-operative experience to manage direct patient care and OR leadership.

Responsibilities include preparing the OR, collaborating with the healthcare team, ensuring privacy and comfort, and mentoring staff while maintaining safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Texas required.
• 2 years intra-operative care experience.
• BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications or must be obtained within specified timelines.
• Associates Degree in Nursing required.

Responsibilities

• Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates OR patient care.
• Prepares the operating room per procedure requirements.
• Directs and supervises patient care in the operating room.
• Collaborates with healthcare team for coordinated care.
• Mentors staff and ensures safety and regulatory standards.
• Ensures patient privacy and comfort at all times.
