Job summary

Mercy Health in Clermont is seeking an experienced RN for the Inpatient Surgery department at Clermont Hospital. The role involves delivering high-quality nursing care in the OR, coordinating with the surgical team and providing pre-, intra-, and post-operative care.

The successful candidate will have an accredited nursing degree, current RN licensure, and BLS (ACLS/PALS preferred). CNOR and SGNA are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Associate degree or Bachelors degree in Nursing.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• BLS Basic Life Support and ACLS/PALS certifications are preferred if hire occurs; CNOR and SGNA are optional.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team.
• Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessment.
• Provide pre-op, intra-op and post-op nursing care, including discharge instructions.
