Job summary

Novant Health southeastern Spine Institute in Mount Pleasant, SC seeks a Registered Nurse for its Ambulatory Surgery Center to deliver high-quality perioperative care. You will advocate for patients, monitor status, and ensure sterile technique throughout procedures.

The role requires an RN license in the appropriate state with 1 year of ASC/PACU/OR experience preferred; ACLS/PALS preferred. Schedule is Monday-Thursday, 6:30am-4:30pm, with no weekends or on-call requirements.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing is required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• One year ASC/PACU/OR experience is preferred.
• RN license in the appropriate state is required.
• ACLS and PALS are preferred.
• Proficiency in telephone screening and interviewing skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality patient care in perioperative environment per safety standards.
• Serve as primary patient advocate during procedures and monitor patient status.
• Maintain sterile field and aseptic technique to minimize infection risk.
• Perform accurate surgical counts with the team.
