Job summary

WH Wheeling Hospital Inc. seeks a Registered Nurse Level I to deliver nursing care in an inpatient setting using the nursing process.

The RN will be responsible for applying clinical knowledge, exercising independent judgment, and ensuring quality patient outcomes across the care team. The role requires licensure, BLS certification within 30 days, and at least one year of nursing experience; BSN is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license in the state where services will be provided or multi-state license via eNLC.
• Certification in Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire date.
• One year of registered nursing experience.
• BSN degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Modifies patient’s plan of care based on data collection and patient’s needs.
• Uses Evidence-Based Practice to provide patient care.
• Delegates according to scope of practice.
• Verifies the plan of care with interprofessional colleagues, patient, and caregiver(s).
• Provides education based on learning needs and involvement of family.
• Promotes effective communication among interprofessional team members and patients.
