Job summary

Northshore Home Health Care is seeking a perioperative nurse to provide direct care in a fast-paced surgical environment across five pods. You will educate patients and families, act as a liaison, and support scrubbing and circulating roles.

The role requires nursing licensure, an OR background of at least 2 years, and a commitment to infection control and patient safety. Bachelor’s degree and CNOR/Mastery Test Out are preferred.

Qualifications

• Nursing diploma or associate’s degree; RN license.
• Minimum 2 years of OR experience.
• Bachelor’s degree, CNOR, Periop 101, and Mastery Test Out preferred.

Responsibilities

• Educates patients and families; acts as liaison.
• Scrub and circulate; assist with surgeries.
• Ensure patient safety and sterile technique.
• Participate in safety and quality initiatives.
