Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing with current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina.
• Incumbent will be required to attain BCLS certification within 3 months of hire; recertification required annually.
• ACLS, PALS, TNCC or MICN required per unit policy for Charge Nurse designation.

Responsibilities

• Provides professional pre-operative and post-operative nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures.
• Functions as scrub nurse/assistant or circulating nurse during surgical procedures.
• Provides patient care in accordance with prescribed, delegated medical regimen and hospital policies.
