Responsibilities

• Engages in governance, professional oversight, and quality initiatives to improve care.
• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement and evaluate care.
• Monitors patient conditions, adjusts care plans, and collaborates with the care team.
• Upholds and promotes a culture of safety.
• Maintains accurate, timely EHR documentation.
• May float to other units to meet patient care needs.
• Dell egation to RNs, LPNs, and unlicensed personnel as appropriate.
• Pursues professional development and maintains required certifications.
