Job summary

Dartmouth Health is seeking experienced registered nurses for our busy 34-bed Same Day Surgery Program in New Hampshire. This full-time role involves 3 x 10-hour shifts, primarily day shifts, with start times between 6:00 am and 8:30 pm. Eligible candidates will have NH RN licensure, a BSN preferred, and BLS or ACLS on hire.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Nursing Program required.
• BSN degree preferred.
• Licensed Registered Nurse with New Hampshire eligibility.
• BLS or ACLS certification required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Uses the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
• Recognizes changes in patient status and escalates as needed.
• Advocates for patients per ANA Ethics Code and supports informed consent.
• Mentors colleagues to advance nursing practice and ensure high-quality care.
• Precepts students, nurse externs, and other learners.
• Delivers care within laws, regulations, and hospital policies.
• Prioritizes time to optimize patient outcomes.
• Applies current evidence and standards to daily practice.
