Job summary

The South Bend Clinic is seeking a Registered Nurse in the Surgery Center at Eddy Street Campus in South Bend, IN. This full-time role offers daytime hours (32 hours/week) with no weekends, nights, holidays, or on-call, and a $2500 sign-on bonus to new team members.

You will work in a collaborative, physician-led team focused on high-quality, coordinated care. Responsibilities span preoperative and postoperative phases with emphasis on safety, patient education, and accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• Current Indiana RN license.
• BLS certification required; ACLS and/or PALS within 3 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Preoperative: assess medical history and status, verify consent, educate patients on surgery and recovery.
• Postoperative: monitor PACU/Phase 2, assess vitals and pain, administer meds, provide discharge instructions.
