Job summary

Aesthetic Ambulatory Surgery Center in Tacoma, WA is seeking a Part-time Registered Nurse to provide perioperative care in the ambulatory surgery setting, including preop, intraop and PACU care.

Responsibilities include preop assessments, IV starts, medication administration, vitals monitoring, OR circulation, PACU care, and patient education. Strong documentation and teamwork required.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN in Washington State with active license.
• Bachelor's or associate degree in nursing from an accredited program.
• BLS and ACLS certifications; PALS preferred.
• 2-3 years of surgical or perioperative nursing experience; new grads welcome.

Responsibilities

• Perform preoperative assessments and educate patients.
• Start IVs and administer medications; monitor vitals.
• Serve as OR circulator and assist in the OR.
• Monitor patients in PACU and post-op care.
• Document care in the EHR; communicate with the care team.
• Provide discharge instructions and answer questions.
