Job summary

ADP, Inc. in Tacoma, WA seeks a Registered Nurse for an aesthetic ambulatory surgery center, part-time. The role provides nursing care in peri-op, PACU and ambulatory settings with preop assessments and perioperative duties.

Requires WA RN license, BLS/ACLS, 2–3 years nursing with surgical/periop experience; PALS preferred. Salary ranges from $43 to $50 per hour with a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted RN license in Washington State.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in nursing from an accredited program.
• BLS and ACLS certification.
• PALS certification preferred
• 2–3 years nursing experience, with at least 1 year in surgical/periop; new grads welcome.

Responsibilities

• Preoperative assessments
• Patient education and answering questions related to procedure
• Start IVs and medications
• Monitor Vitals
• OR Circulator - assist in OR
• Monitor patients in recovery (PACU)
• Address questions/complications/concerns
• Educate patients/families on discharge instructions
• Collaborate with surgeons and anesthesia to ensure coordinated care
• Document patient care in EHR
• Respond to triage calls (preop/postop)
• Adhere to ASC policies and safety standards
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives
• Ensure proper handling of meds and supplies
• Stay current with ambulatory surgery nursing practices
