Job summary

CommonSpirit Memorial is seeking a Pre/Post Surgery RN to apply the nursing process and growth/development knowledge to individualized patient care in the immediate post-anesthesia period.

You will deliver safe, efficient care in a fast-paced surgical setting, coordinate services, and oversee staff delegation with a patient-centered focus. RN licensure in TN and CPR/BLS are required on hire, ACLS due within six months.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Registered Nurse: TN license upon hire.
• Basic Life Support - CPR upon hire.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Integrate the nursing process and standards into daily practice.
• Deliver efficient, safe patient care during the critical period following anesthesia and invasive procedures.
• Coordinate support services and delegate to and evaluate subordinate staff.
• Manage complex care in a fast-paced, critical environment.
